Here’s How It Works:
Earbuds usually play sounds, right? Our earbud is different - it’s actually a microphone, which means it can capture sounds rather than make them. Any sound that’s made near the earbud can be recorded.
Example of how to use it: you put the earbud in your ear. Then, place your phone over the same ear. Because your phone’s speaker is right next to the earbud mic, the caller’s voice is captured, and you’ll still be able to hear them during the call. It’ll also record anything you say, too.
You’ll need an audio recorder to use this earbud. The earbud plugs into almost any audio recorder you can find at Wal-Mart or Radio Shack - if you don’t have one, we definitely recommend our Micro Stick Recorder.
While you have your phone call, the earbud sends the sounds to the audio recorder, which it then saves to a file. Then, you can save it to your computer, send it to someone, or whatever else you want to do with it.

Our team processes orders quickly - if your order has already shipped, you’ll need to open a ticket in the chat widget so we can set up a return.
If you need to add items, or change the shipping speed, we can do it if the order hasn’t shipped yet. Otherwise, you’ll need to place a new order, and we can recall the original order.
How does the order show up on my credit card?
We know you’re trying to be discreet, so we’ve gone the extra mile to have credit card transactions listed under ‘SGE LLC’ on your statement and not ‘SpyGuy’.
Do you accept checks, money orders, or gift cards?
Many of our customers are trying to be discreet and don’t want certain charges appearing on credit card statements or PayPal.
AmEx and Visa offer gift cards at most grocery stores and big-box retailers, which can then be used on this website.

What is the order cutoff time?
Orders placed Monday through Friday before 5:30pm Eastern/2:30pm Pacific are shipped out the same day.
Orders placed after this cutoff time are shipped the next business day.
How do I get free ground shipping?
Every order gets free and fast UPS ground shipping. Over 90% of our customers get their order within 4 days.
Do you offer 2-day or overnight delivery?
Absolutely, we have these options at checkout. You’ll just need to place your order before the 5:30pm Eastern cutoff time, otherwise it’ll be sent the next business day.

Where do you ship to?
We can ship to any address in the USA. This includes homes, apartments, businesses, and private mailboxes.
We can also deliver to PO and APO mailboxes, but cannot guarantee 2-day and overnight deliveries will get there on time as USPS doesn’t guarantee these services.
If you would like something shipped internationally, our clients outside the USA seem to like MyUS.com as a low-cost method of having packages forwarded.
Please be aware of any international tariffs you might be charged.
What shipping carriers do you use?
We use a combination of UPS and USPS for our free ground shipping options, and FedEx for our 2-day and overnight methods.
If you have a special carrier request or requirement, please get in touch with us via the contact widget and we’ll do our best to make it happen.
What does the package look like? Does it say SpyGuy?
All orders ship in discreet, plain, brown or white envelopes and boxes.
The shipping label doesn’t say SpyGuy, of course! It says ‘Fulfillment Center’ and has the return address of the fulfillment center. The package contents aren’t listed on the packaging.
If you do an online search for the fulfillment center’s address, it doesn't return anything related to SpyGuy.
I want this sent somewhere else, is that okay?
We understand some clients don’t want this sent to their home or business, and that’s fine. Just give us the full shipping address you want this sent.
Make sure you also add the billing address, which is tied to your credit card or other payment method, otherwise your payment might get refused.
How can I track my order once it has been shipped?
You’ll be emailed a tracking number as soon as your order has shipped.
If you lost it, open the contact widget to key in your email address and ZIP code, and you can see the details about your shipment.

What’s your return policy?
We have a risk-free, 100% money back guarantee that lasts 60 days after you receive your order. We’ll refund you the full amount with no questions asked.
This applies to all products in the audio, bug detector, GPS, and hidden camera categories.
The only products we don’t accept returns on are iOS and Android recovery software. Software is non-refundable, which is an industry standard.
How do I send back a return?
You can use our returns portal to start a new return and print off a shipping label.
Please, don’t send something back without talking to us or opening up a return request.
Your package might get lost and we’re not able to help you if you do that.
How do I exchange products?
You can do a self-service exchange right in our exchanges portal here.
How long is the warranty?
All products come with a one year warranty that covers any manufacturer defects.
How do I return a defective product under warranty?
Please get in touch with us and we’ll happily process your warranty coverage and send you a new unit.
Are any items non-refundable?
The recovery sticks are software, and are not refundable. We’re happy to exchange them with another product, if you like.
Is there a return fee?
Products returned in new and unused condition have absolutely no fees - you’ll get the full 100% of your order credited back to you.
In extreme cases, customers have sent us clearly damaged products, damaged or missing accessories, and boxes. For example, the products smell like cigarettes, or they return a product that isn’t even what they bought from us.
In these extremely rare instances, a damages fee of up to 40% of the product cost will be applied. We’re reasonable here, and we hope you’re reasonable, too.

All products are under a 1 year warranty, with GPS trackers and Spy Cameras having a 1-year warranty. If you’re having trouble or think your product is acting up, get in touch with us as soon as possible and we’ll make it right.

We offer a 60-day, money back guarantee on most of our items. Should you want to return or exchange your order, simply get in touch with us within 30-days of ordering and we’ll begin the return process. A list of items that are exempt can be found at the bottom of this page.
Contact Us First
Please, do not send us anything without first contacting us! It’s very difficult on our customer care team when we get packages that we’re not expecting. They usually have no name, order number, or reason for return.
We’re not mind readers, unfortunately, so please get in touch with us first!
Make sure that when you send us a return you include everything that was sent to you, including packaging and accessories. They also need to be in original condition. Once your return is received, we’ll issue a full credit on your card. If it’s an exchange, we’ll ship out the replacement product.
If you return your product without first contacting us and getting an RMA, or your return does not meet the conditions above, a 25% fee will be deducted from your refund.
Items That Aren’t Refundable:
Some of our items aren’t refundable. The reason is unfortunate - we've had customers out there who buy from us to quickly to get the answers they want, and then return the items to get a refund. The product, it solved their problem, and now they don’t want it anymore.
It's an underhanded tactic that’s difficult to fight, and we can’t stay in business by being a rental company. Because of this, we aren’t able to offer refunds on the following products:
